I think that Sandy has helped the Obama. But a changed President does shake things up.

I would like to know what South Africans follow more - the US elections or the SA elections.

I definitely pay more attention to the SA elections, but I also find the USA elections interesting.

Personally I'm leaning towards Obama for a second term. What put me off Mitt Romney was the Republican primaries. There was a moment in that campaign when he reminded me of Richard Nixon. I'm actually surprised the race is as close as it is. The guy's as phoney as a 3 dollar bill.

We have elections in SA? really... So we get vote for our next leader!!! But we pay for 7 kings and all there wives and children? About 50 million of the taxpayer's money goes towards them. If you have kings how can you vote? And if you don't vote for cancer you are attacked and victimized so I always thought cancer is here to stay for all time...???

Boring. Time magazine was full of election crap for the last 6 months trying to analyse everything to the tenth degree. I do not care who wins- may just be the lesser of two evils. The US election is the biggest waste of money after Zoom Zoom's Nkandla palace. (not allowed to call it a compound any more)

Oh well - seems it's all over bar the shouting. Another four years for Obama.

Will this change inflation and interest rate in the States? With all the easing and stimulus there this should feed into the inflation cycle.

Obama is ok, I think he will do his best in keeping his word... But in the end 4 years will be the judge
