There is an interesting article on the Economist about "teambuying" in China.

What I find the most interesting about it is the ability to use the internet to coordinate and launch this type of group effort. In a lot of ways that is the idea behind this particular forum.

Only problem seems that, with whites at least, getting anything together is like herding cats.
