Do we need a post on power of attorney with attachments???

    Hi Guys,

    1. I always prefer limited power of attorney as apposed to general. If there's a real need , I can create a thread, explaining the common law and statutory position and include attachments i.e. templates.

Do you think that this need exists?

    Please let me know...

Keep this up and we'll have to open the Vanash Naik law library on TFSA

Keep 'em coming, Vanash. I'm sure there are more than enough people who would find it useful.

I will most certainly post a 'limited power of attorney' template in word 2003 format. I'm not comfortable posting a general power of attorney as it can be abused!

PRO BONO: Power of attorney. Hi Flaker, I will glady compile a power of attorney for you PRO bono, I must advise you though, that a limited power of attorney is preferable! If, however, you really want a general South African Power of attorney, I will comply, against better judgment! I send you a pm with my email adress so that we can get the process started! I am going to make a detailed post on the stautory and common law of position currently on both general and limited power of attorney. A combination of the flue, exams, evangelical work and general a very hectic life has prevented me from doing so as yet! I will however do so, within the next 3 weeks!!!
