    ID SMART CARD

I THINK THIS IS A GOOD IDEA BUT DO YOU TRUST DEPARTMENT OF HOME AFFAIRS AKA HORROR AFFAIRS FOR A SMOOTH TRANSCITION?

As you know by now, I am always very critical about government, but lets give credit where credit is due. Since Mrs Dlamini-Zuma took over the department she has achieved a remarkable turnaround.

Home affairs was in an even bigger mess than you could ever imagine. I know people who have worked there and resigned because they had to choose between a new job or going completely insane. This Forum has also reported on the amazing turnaround and good service in renewing or obtaining passports etc.

I say hats off to Nkosasana Zuma!

There was a segment on Good Morning South Africa on this new smart ID card. Listening to the vision they have for this, I couldn't help but think of two things -
Francois's prediction that human chipping is inevitable, and the consequences - and,
This will make it so much easier for Big Brother to watch you.
