Change of accountant for owner managed PTY's

    Hi there

I have a small Pty client that is owner managed, we got the MOI converted before their year end and they can therefore take advantage of the audit exemption for owner managed companies. I'm not sure what form (if any) we need to send into CIPC in relation to amending the accountant from auditors to accounting officer. I would be grateful if any of you could advise.

You don't need to send in anything. However it would be appropriate to record a resolution noting the owner managed status and PIS and the intention to appoint an independent reviewer or independent accountant, whichever category you fall into.
