e@syfile 6.0.0 database merge problem

i am trying to merge 2 datebases for the same company. instead of merging the database, easyfile is creating a duplicate company. the problem is that now all the IRP5 are not lying under the same company. is anyone experiencing this. is there a solution. please help.

I'm not sure I understand the problem.

I believe the idea behind the merge functionality is when you have multiple input sources. The merge is done pretty much at the end of the process, and I expect is what you would use for the final submission. This would then also become the source of issued IRP5's. Effectively the merged database becomes the master copy.
