Durban to host World Toilet Summit

Durban is to host the World Toilet Summit in December 2012. Are all the stories about the country going down the drain finally coming true?

I hope nobody causes any s#!t at the summit...

"Durban plans to become the first SA city to purify and recycle sewage water into drinking-quality tap water and officials are urging residents to comment on the proposal as soon as possible." The Murcury 15 March 2012.

So it is true. The country is going down the drain...

    Sense of Freshness....

A while ago a new supermarket opened in HILLFOX, ROODEPOORT.
It has an automatic water mister to keep the produce fresh. Just before it goes on, you hear the sound of distant thunder and the smell of fresh rain.

When you pass the milk cases, you hear cows mooing and you experience the scent of fresh mowed hay.

In the meat department there is the aroma of charcoal grilled steaks with onions.

When you approach the egg case, you hear hens cluck and cackle, and the air is filled with the pleasing aroma of bacon and eggs frying.

The bread department features the tantalizing smell of fresh baked bread and cookies.

I don't buy toilet paper there any more.

I wonder if the officials will be the first to stand inline and drink the purified water. I wanna see that , theres no way that I trust any official to do the job right!

When I first saw this thread I thought Blurock might be pulling our chain until I read an article about this in the newspaper.
