    Tax card from Eversheds

Useful quick and easy reference tool, with relevant new tax rates.

    Thanks Anthony!

Now I need to get my hands on one of those little tax cards to carry around with me.

One of the better laid out ones I've seen. The official SARS one is a million miles wide and impossible to print out.

At the risk of sounding critical, it doesn't mention the UIF earnings ceiling - one line that I've always considered as fairly significant information.

    I see this :
The maximum remuneration on which UIF contributions are made is R12 478 per month.

Yep - it's been the ceiling for quite a few years now. I keep expecting it to be changed as my sense is an increase is overdue, so it's something I tend to look out for.

    Well, no mad rush tomorrow.

Paperwork all done, returns filed and payments made.

What a great feeling. Tomorrow I can relax !!
