    VeriBiz: are they a bona fide company????

    Hi Guys,

    1. I don't normally obtain ITC reports on behalf of my prescription claim clients purely becuase the client themselves can request a ITC and Experian report free online, you entitled to one free report per year;
    2. I've had 4 incidents this week where my clients attempted to obtain their free report but were given the error message, " details could be verified, please come and pick up report personally with your id"
    3. In order to assist one of my clients , I approached a friend(won't mention hime becuase we respect each other) who is in the recruitment and selection industry and pays monthly subsription to ITC. He told me that should I want him to request a report for me, he would charge me R150 per report. I complied this time but have since being looking for a company that will charge a reasonable rate per report;
    4. I came across VeriBiz, they seem legit and charge R34 for 1 itc report. I just have a very uneasy feeling about them!!! Has anyone done busines with them?
    5. Can you please recommend a company to me which will provide a ITC report at a reasonable price and not charge a monthly subscription?

    Your feedback will be highly appreciated!!!!!!!

    Looks legit to me!

    And I think I'll give them a whirl for the next credit check I've got to do. Transunion and Experian's bundled pricing system works out far more expensive for me on my volumes.

    Of course company look-ups are free on the CIPC website, and VAT look-ups are free on eFiling, but the credit check rates look reasonable.

    But this reminded me that I can get a free credit report as it is my birthday month.
    The report looks good just scary the amount of info they have, they have all my outstanding balances

    Yes, Veribiz is a legit company I use them a lot.

    They are not a registered Credit Bureau but an onseller, they resell the reports for Transunion (ITC), XDS etc.

    Have a look at CPB - Consumer Profile Bureau they charge R 27.00 for a profile

    I recall being able to do this on the CIPRO website, but since it became CIPC, I haven't managed to figure out how to search for a 3rd party company. Maybe I need to spend more time searching.

    Let me save you the trouble.

    I got there by clicking on the Additional services link on the left hand upper menu block - which on closer examination takes you to a page on the old CIPRO site. This gives a link to this page: http://www.cipro.gov.za/transact/pro...ces/search.asp

    It still works - at least for now. I guess the company search functionality page on the cipc website is still to be developed.
