it differs from where you outsource it to normally auditors charge round about R60 per employee. I can always provide you with a quote which suits your allowance?

Well i think the start would be getting software. I am sure you are fimialiar with the tax on everyhing and also the labour law in order to do leave etc.

I would actually phone people and ask how much they charge more or less. As soon as you know the prices of competitors you can start with marketing.

Getting clients is not easy but there is always marketing advise.

Is there specific questions you maybe have - easier to put a list of questions together and post them. the forum has got a lot of people who can comment and answer your questions from a lot of different angles.

I was thinking of Pastel as I have experience with it and I got the best price from the so far.

I am familiar with the laws as I have done HR Management Diploma and short courses iro HR & The Law.

Can you maybe advise me on ways to market myself and get clients?

How would you suggest getting clients to show interest in you?

I think it would be best to post this question in the marketing forum and get other opinions.

But i do find that it is important to have a nice website because most people google businesses. Then maybe try google adwords and subscibe to free online business listings.

It is not easy to find clients, word of mouth in the industry is very important.

I know you get in cpt area people who distribute flyers to certain target markets and go from home to home, you can maybe try something like that but only targeting business areas, but this is not a very efficient way of marketing as not a lot of people respond to flyers.

Sorry not be of great help but marketing isn't one of my strong points

Hi there,

I have phoned a lot of companies (auditors, bookkeepers ect) and asked for quotations. It seems like prices for payroll outsourcing differs a lot!! Some people ask very little and other a lot.

I think it is a good idea to decide on your target market. Focus your marketing message on your target market, speak to them in your marketing. Get to know your target market, what are their concerns, what are they facing and where can you be the sollution to their problems!

One can waste a lot of money and time if you market just in general to all the people out there in SA. It is better to foucus on a specific group of people, your target market.

Hi All

So after about 3 years I took the leap and started my company. I officially started the company in 2015. I've gained a few clients over the time since the idea came up and traded as myself. But now it is official.

So any advise from you all regarding advertising and marketing would be greatly appreciated.
