    money saving tip

if you are with standard bank it cost

R10.50 to draw R500 at the atm

R15.40 to draw R1000 at the atm

TIP : if you transfer the money to a cellphone it cost R9.95 and it free to collect

never mind the petrol price check out you bank fees the next time you need to save money because...this has become the biggest overhead in my bussiness.

just make sure you read the dotted line because if you go to one of the outlets and send money you must take your ID and a copy of it

you can draw up to R5000 per day and R25000 per month

or get a credit card...then your transactions are free...but you pay a yearly fee

    I agree with Murdock.
We should start a 'Wiki' that gives all the money saving loopholes as far as dealing with the different banks goes?

FNB has informed me that if I deposit a cheque using the ATM, they do not charge for the deposit. Also cash deposits via FNB ATM are far lower than going to the counter, and are 24/7

i will also be paying my maid via this route as it will be cheaper for me to send he money via the spar...than to draw the cash or do an eft into a bank account.

i am even considering paying my staff like this as it is also cheaper...then they can go deposit it into their own accounts or take the money home...what ever.

My EFts with ABSA have a fixed monthly fee. I don't know if its the same with business banking though. I suggest looking into that as well for your money saving Wikipedia (call it Wikipaidia)
