I would likely lose my cool if someone cracks wise-ass remarks in a professional environment. I think that I have a pretty good sense of humour, but if I feel like joking around, I save it for my friends and family, not my customers. Lastly, a "practical joke" that aims to humiliate the subject thereof is not funny, regardless of whether it is a friend or a customer.

People use to like to belittle me especially at social events and for this reason I stopped attending any event it can be family friends and or any other social event. I just say no... The reason being, I developed a bit of a short fuse.

I completely agree if the joke aims to humiliate it is not a joke.

To Kevinb > Clearly you cannot accept an apology nor can give one. To this point I am respectfully requesting a temporary When I was out of line I realised my mistake and tried to fix it. You clearly wish too continue to create volatile situations to what end I cannot say.

If it must I would not mind being banned alongside you for whatever duration. Or whatever the forum Administration see fit to do.

I'm not keen on banning anyone just because the two parties seem to be struggling to see eye to eye.

Let's slug it out here and see if we can get closer to a viable solution.

So these comments they made are a true story?

Don't really care if someone made any of the jokes like that at me, I would worry about the legal implications they'd face of destroying a R20 note.

No I wouldnt be offended with any of these responses but certainly may be ticked off with some and reply with some "humour" of my own.
