    Simple. Rent a list from a list broker and get the owner's name and surname.
    "Can I speak to Joe Blow?" and through you go. This will usually get you in.

    If she asks - what is it about? You say - I need to find out more about Joe's legal/accounting/design (what have you service).
    This is in fact true, because as a trusted advisor and potential partner you must know a bit about the business before you and the
    owner can see if you are a fit or not. Seek to disqualify people to work with you (not everyone wants, needs can afford your service).

    That being said, cold calling is absolutely the hardest way to get business...
