    Robotic Vacuum cleaner

I have just purchased a Xiaomi E5 robot
Took it for a test drive last night and it definitely did a reasonable cleaning job even though the house had been vacuumed during the day
Problem with dogs, and Parrot that throws food everywhere to get attention , always needs a sweep.

Question is - Has anybody else tried one and found a fool proof way to "map out" and set schedules that work - Sucking Suzi seemed to get confused and could not find her way home to charge

After 2 weeks of Sucking Suzi roaming the house and cleaning up it seems to have stabilized and finds her way home to charge after she has cleaned up
The E5 does not have mapping on the App and that seems to be reserved for higher editions which come along at 3 to 4 times the price.
For the price it is a bonus - Cost is around R2 K and I had to put a couple of decent edgings on floor differences that are greater than 9mm , next maybe lift the lounge suite by 5mm so she can get under - Has no problem getting under the bed to clean

It does definitely have a reasonable amount of AI working in the back ground as it starts missing walls and furniture after a day or 2 and goes along quite smoothly .
Since my nature is to irritate , I move a chair or 2 to create confusion - Cheap form of entertainment

I had one of those models - Found it to be high maintenance and moody at times especially after a night out with mates, which then resulted in even more expense

The E5 model doesn't seem to mind and hardly any maintenance, definitely has not got moody

I've had mine for 45 years.

Let's see how long Sucking Suzi lasts. 🤣🤣🤣
