Hello all - new to the forum and really only joined for this question. I saw a previous post from 2007 and replied to that but maybe somebody current can also assist.
I recently bought a vehicle privately - received the owners ID and Natis form, but bought it from another person who drove it for a year without registering it in their name. I now need to register said car but cannot trace the actual owner - I have the ID number but there is no mention on social media.
Is there a way to track this person ?
I want to follow the right route here with the proper forms etc. but this is holding up the entire process - apart from the signed NCO is there another legal way of transferrinf to my name?
