Sick leave entitlement when less than 3 year's service

Question: If an employee uses all 30 days sick leave in 18 months, and then resigns, is the employer entitled to apportion the 30 days allowed over the 18 months served and deduct excess sick leave taken from salary or leavepay on termination?
An employee could move jobs every 18months and effectively get 20 days paid sickleave per annum on top of his 15 days annual leave (and in this case, 14 days study leave).!

Might be more effective to manage the sick leave if you feel foul play, by means of sick leave verification...

Not entitled to do that because although the sick days are allocated per 36 month cycle that does not mean they cannot use it all at once since they are entitled to it . I Hope this helps
