Compensation Fund Problems?

Hello All,

Anyone else having problems filing RoE with the Compensation Fund?

There is a new website this year and my old credentials didn't work logging in. I finally got hold of a consultant who sent me new login credentials which didn't initially work due to "server issues" but I can now get in and there is no company associated with my profile and when I try to add valid details (company registration number, director ID and tax number) these are not recognised.

I'm at my wit's end.

Yes, the new website is a bit confusing but I worked my way around it. When logging in, I entered my ID number and selected "forget my password". I then received an e-mail with a new password. I noted just like you that all the companies disappeared from my profile.

I had to manually add every single company to my profile again by entering the Employer Reference Number (it starts with 990000....).

The layout is different to lodge your W.As.6, but the basic principles are unchanged. There is a preferred option that you should pay using this website by entering your banking details, but due to ever increasing fraud I didn't feel comfortable with this and opted to do the payment the old fashioned EFT way.

Thanks Best07, I finally negotiated my way around it but had to get hold of a "consultant" to make masterfile changes (company name change etc) which also couldn't be done on the old system - one has to send the CIPC amendments to a consultant for what they call a "back door fix".

I too have elected an eft payment solution.
