    AC control DB for inverters

Do we need an AC control box.

I see something that has become common practise, instead of fitting an AC control DB, a 4 pole isolator is used with a 4 core cable.

1 x 4 core cable from the main DB, spilt in the main DB for the inverter supply and the other to the essential part of the DB.

1 x 4 pole isolator at the inverter and 1 4 core cable from the isolator to the inverter.

That is illegal - common logic will without putting regs into place - If I switch the isolator off i am not isolating all supplies as on the DB side the supply from inverter will be live

The cable will not be isolated and still have 2 cores live

    Screams danger from all directions
