It is so quiet on social media, always a good thing, because it means business is booming, people are busy making lots of money. It is normally quiet for us this time of the year, it allows us to catchup.
Load shedding being a thing of the past, has filtered out most of the dodgy contractors and allowed people to take a deep breathe and scrutinise their installations, which I hear has ruffled a few feathers, and created more work for us. there is good money in botched jobs. Don't let anyone tell you that you cant sign off someone else's work. All those dodgy contractors have created huge opportunities for us, registered sparkies. Fortunately the customer could be selling the house, which means they will require a test report and COC and you might be called out to carry out the test report and COC

The bonus is you dont have to carry any warranties because you didn't supply the equipment.
The more dodgy jobs, the more upgrade and repair work for us, I quoted for a generator installation, they accepted the cheaper quote which resulted in a 3 phase bodge of note. A tip for those of you who are not familiar with 3 phase systems, beware of the neutral, especially on old installations where the live and neutral feed in and out, you mix and drop those neutrals across the phases, you gonna pay the price.
