Some of the challenges faced when installing a backup system:
The roof
1/ Is the roof strong enough for panels @ around 30 kg per panels multiple that by 10 and you have 300 kg additional weight plus accessories.
2/ Who is responsible for verifying the roof is in a condition to add panels?
3/ You cant put an elephant on the roof and not break tiles, make sure the installers are around 60-70 kg, then you shouldnt have a problem.
4/ Should you install plastic under the tile, prior to fitting solar panels, from my understanding, the plastic is not there to water proof but rather dust proof the roof space.
