Junction box

Hi
I purchased weather proof junction boxes from my electrical dealer.
They have no IP Rating on them but state weather proof.They have the rubber seal as per the IP rated boxes.

Can these be used outside exposed to the weather elements.

They should be able to give you the IP rating of the box - If they cannot then it cant have an IP rating
