Due to load shedding i have recurring component failure on a PID temperature controller ,power supply uses a LED driver BP 9022a which fails.cant source from local RSA supplier(tried all the usual)
Anyone who can suggest a equivalent i can adapt ?
There does not seem to be a direct replacement.
If you know what the DC supply voltage is, then you could use a conventional 2VA transformer with a bridge rectifier and smoothing cap an use an LM317 with a small pot to adjust the voltage for the controller.
The transformer will make the circuit more rugged.
