Cash Suspense in Suppliers in Pastel

I'm new here. My name's Wendy and I hope you can help.
The bookkeeper before me opened a cash suspense account in the suppliers, I don't know why and ca't ask either. How do I clear the balance please. It's been sitting in that account since last year.
