    Hi Carina, thank you for this. If only people did a lot more research before going for mamograms.

    Pretty much, although not because cancer itself being too close for comfort as a subject - just trying to keep negative input into the mind down at the moment.

    Happily the business pressures of the year so far are returning to normal levels now, so I was feeling in a better place to read up on a subject that normally has such powerful negative connotations.

    I have strong empathy, and when I read a sad story, I really feel it. And the soul can only take so much at a time.
    Of course, as it turns out you have given a very powerful, positive message on the subject

    A dog is a companion for life - and after. Dog is maybe the mirror image of God. No matter how badly you treat them, they will still wag their tails and lick your face.

    The bad joke about locking your wife and the dog in the car boot is true;

    The dog will be the only one that's happy to see you!

    Not the right time for me to read your comment... I've just been cleaning up the graveyard, where all my animal children are buried. Well, I am waiting for Kleenex to sponsor me in some way. The 'missing you' bit sneaks up on you like Autumn does on Summer.

    I would certainly say that this is the robust standard of love! Good stuff Blurock, good stuff indeed!

    Love
    Then said Almitra, "Speak to us of Love."
    And he raised his head and looked upon the people, and there fell a stillness upon them.
    And with a great voice he said:
    When love beckons to you follow him,
    Though his ways are hard and steep.
    And when his wings enfold you yield to him,
    Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.
    And when he speaks to you believe in him,
    Though his voice may shatter your dreams as the north wind lays waste the garden.
    For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you. Even as he is for your growth so is he for your pruning.
    Even as he ascends to your height and caresses your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun,
    So shall he descend to your roots and shake them in their clinging to the earth.
    Like sheaves of corn he gathers you unto himself.
    He threshes you to make you naked.
    He sifts you to free you from your husks.
    He grinds you to whiteness.
    He kneads you until you are pliant;
    And then he assigns you to his sacred fire, that you may become sacred bread for God's sacred feast.
    All these things shall love do unto you that you may know the secrets of your heart, and in that knowledge become a fragment of Life's heart.
    But if in your fear you would seek only love's peace and love's pleasure,

    “Romeo and Juliet, they never felt this way I bet, so don’t underestimate my point of view!"
    The mythical and much sought after concept of love! It actually starts in Genesis with the very first commandment to man, ‘Be fruitful and multiply,’ To do just that man and woman are opposites that attract.
    Now, if you can use a metaphor of your kiss been the equivalent to a saint’s cleansing touch and prayer and after deliberation with this witty chick you both conclude that the kiss you shared had indeed purged the man’s sin and the woman so content that she concludes ‘you kiss by the book,’ then, you know you on to something!

    ROMEO
    [To JULIET] If I profane with my un-worthiest hand
    This holy shrine, the gentle fine is this:
    My lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand
    To smooth that rough touch with a tender kiss.

    JULIET
    Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hand too much,
    Which mannerly devotion shows in this;
    For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch,
    And palm to palm is holy palmers' kiss.

    ROMEO
    Have not saints lips, and holy palmers too?
    JULIET
    Ay, pilgrim, lips that they must use in prayer.
    ROMEO
    O, then, dear saint, let lips do what hands do;
    They pray, grant thou, lest faith turn to despair.

    JULIET
    Saints do not move, though grant for prayers' sake.
    ROMEO
    Then move not, while my prayer's effect I take.
    Thus from my lips, by yours, my sin is purged.

    JULIET
    Then have my lips the sin that they have took.
    ROMEO
    Sin from thy lips? O trespass sweetly urged!
    Give me my sin again.

    JULIET
    You kiss by the book.
