    Pastel Invoices/Summary

I have set my invoicing to round to the nearest 50 cents.
The printed invoice is fine and does the rounding perfectly, showing the original amount and the rounding difference.
However when I print the invoice summary, it reflects the original and not the rounded amount, with the result that the cash box does not balance with the summary.
    How now ?

    Hi Marinco

Have you tried printing to excel and using Excel's round function? Excel can round to the nearest 50c. If you using Excel to do your recon then this might be a possibilty. If so, I can give you the formula to accomplish the rounding [if this is an option for you], unless, of-course some-one like Neville can give you a direct solution in Pastel.

    Thanks Elijah,

First prize would obviously be if the situation can be solved directly in Pastel but yes, this is an option.

    Thanks

    Hi Martinco

If no-one can assist you within Pastel, then try this formula =MROUND(CELLADDRESS,0.5) . The MROUND function needs the analysis toolpak addin to be installed if you running excel version prior to Excel 2007.
Let me know if this works for you.

    Regards
    Elijah

    Hi Martinco

Only used open office once and briefly at that. What I do re-call though is that it does have all/most of excel's functions, So it should work there as well, but as I mentioned don't know much abt Open Office. But I am 90% certain it would work in open office.
