    They already own chunks of those in gubberment - why else did SA refuse a visa to the Dalai Lama?

    ...and food availability is a growing issue. A pretty shrewd investment, I reckon.

    Chinese colonisation methodology:

    1. Buy up land;
    2. Infiltrate & control business;
    3. Buy local gubmunt;
    4. Send in settlers (colonise);
    5. Second-generation settlers enter politics;
    6. Political power rises;
    7. Take over power - rename to Chinese colony with 'special rights'.

    They have been doing this for years around Asia. Thailand is a defacto colony of China, with 80% of the country's wealth in the hands of the Chinese ethnic minority (10% of the population). They own all the major businesses.

    Just like all those European countries did it a century or more ago

    The more things change, the more they stay the same.

    Post China Policy

    Who do you think owns (controls) 48% of USA (business) economy, 56% of UK economy and 19% of Aussie economy. Have you bought any products from any of these countries lately? Have a look where the parts were made!

    China has been (almost) the only country with a growing economy in the last coupla years.
