With R-134a you should not be experiencing high-pressure trips at water temp ~ 50'C.

For good measure, please measure the compressor discharge temperature 150mm from the compressor discharge port & report back. Do this when the water temp is ~ 50'C.

Is the Electrolux compressor a fridge unit?

    Update :
Ok, found it. It's a Cubigel. You should, at first glance, be able to push the water temp a fair bit higher on this compressor, if you are careful.

My temp logger is in the workshop so I'll bring it home and log some discharge temperatures for different water temperatures during the week.
