    Invoicing Courier/Delivery Costs

    Hi there

How do I reflect courier/delivery costs on a sales invoice?

Should they be reflected as a sales item?

Or do I allocate it to the Courier Costs account so that when I process the invoice from the courier company, they offset each other?

    Regards

Invoice it as a line item and have an income account for delivery charges in your management accounts. Apart from preventing VAT reporting issues, this will also allow you to keep an eye on delivery charges invoiced vs delivery charges for which you have been billed.
