Would every ice business operate in the same environment?
Do they all have the same start-up capital?
Do they all have the same marketing plan?

Please don't take me as being rude, but the problem is not that you can't find a business plan for the ice business. It's the notion that a business plan is something generic and applicable to all situations.

Every business plan is unique to its owner. You should look for example of business plans in the production industry, and base your business plan on those. Copying or modifying a generic business plan will not stimulate the same ideas that you should have in a business plan. That is the lazy way out and the plan will end up failing because seemingly obvious things where left out. (Things that are area specific etc.)

Here is an Ice Lolly production business plan you can base yours on: http://www.pngbuai.com/600technology...s/ICELOLLY.pdf

Thank you for the links... The guide will definitely help me.

I guess i used the incorrect word there, I did mean to say Business plan EXAMPLE and not necessarily TEMPLATE. My mistake.

Thanks all for your responses & inputs.

Thanks for asking and sorry for being a bit grumpy.

Note to self - must have coffee before replying to threads in the morning

It would be interesting to hear which site proved to have the most useful templates for you in the end.

Funny you should mention coffee Dave, I hadn't had a coffee yet, and when i eventually did, managed to sort a small issue with the servers that had been bugging me (Oh and by the way, i didn't notice the grumpy/rude until you mentioned it.)

How about a ice coffee machine business
