    Nifty Excel spread sheets

I was pointed to this site and they have some nifty spreadsheets. I downloaded the balloon finance one for vehicles and was impressed.

That led me on a merry dance. What I would really love to find is a loan calculator spreadsheet that could handle changes in interest rates during the term of the loan.

Thanks Vincent. I had a good look around but no luck. Found one that looked interesting but at R1450.00 or thereabouts, a bit steep for something I'm probably just going to pick through a bit. Mind you, thinking about it, I think I've got one of those fancy total analysis spreadsheets lying around on my laptop somewhere already.

I think I'm going to take one of the standard amortization tables and hack it.

The other way round is to start a new table with every rate change, but having all the data in one sheet is so much neater.

I found this flexible mortgage calculator, don't know if it will help, may need a bit of manipulation.
