    Thought for the day

"Alenda Lux Ubi Orta Libertas," translated, "Let Learning Be Cherished Where Liberty Has Arisen." (Davidson College's motto)

Something we need to get right in SA.

(Thanks Stéfan for bringing this to my attention).

"The key to success is knowledge."

My story on this one is it is the message engraved on a 21st birthday key that has been handed down through the family since my great-grandfather. A sort of floating trophy.

A variant on the same theme, I reckon.
The trouble with opportunity is it normally comes dressed up as work.

Good one Duncan - One would also think that that we would learn by past mistakes and systems.

Felix qui potuit rerum cognoscere causas: Fortunate is he who has been able to learn the causes of things.
