Serious joke of this day...or is it?

I found the following paragraph tucked away in the Durban.gov.za site which sets out our Durban Mayor's CV and claim to fame.

Mr Mlaba has worked for such industry giants as the South African Breweries and South
Africa’s largest electricity provider, Eskom. During his tenure as Manager of Business
Development at Eskom, Mr Mlaba introduced the concept of strategic planning and
visioning to the organisation, a relatively new concept in 1994

They're right, though. Consulting the shop floor for strategic planning input was a relatively new concept in 1994. The results of this amazing innovation are in, I guess.

What did he do at SA Breweries, or are they a little mum on that?
The trouble with opportunity is it normally comes dressed up as work.
