    Late registration for COIDA

    Hi,
we are electrical contractors and started trading in 2006. We have never been successful in registering with coida. The 4 times that we did our application came back with more info required, which we don't understand looking at the form. If we are finally successful would we need to backdate to 2008 when we employed our first employee. What are the fee structures for our industry.

    thank you

Thank goodness you haven't had cause for a claim (I hope).

If you're an electrical contractor, perhaps you should rather try registering with FEM instead of the Workmen's Compensation Commissioner.
