Unpaid Sick Leave

no the warning did not state anything in regards to the days that were unpaid. 4 days in total which have now been retracted. HR said the whole audit thing did not apply to me??? My sick leave cycle began again at 30 this month. i had 11 left in total which fell away. So i still dont understand the excessive sick leave part.

Good Day. Sorry for the late replay. i was just taken a back by your response about the last case.
Honestly it did not sit well with me. 9 years on and i am still struggling to rebuild my life.
On Thursday i had a meeting with HR about the matter and said that they will investigate.
Today i was called into a meeting and they told me that they are going to reverse the transaction regarding the unpaid sick leave and pay out will occur on payday. My challenge is that the money they took has impacted me heavily. I spoke to them and explained that I am going to have a transport issue because of the finances they took. Also my query was lodged before cut off date which was the end off March. I have also spoken to my Ops Managers about my situation. Which one them loan me some bucks to get home but had to make a personal commitment to pay back which i will do. Today i must do the same thing. I dont think its fair that i must go through this and stress everyday thinking how and who i must ask for money to get to work and back home. They made the error but its expected of me to be at work. Please advise as i really need help.

Im afraid too many questions not answered, and too many cases to take this seriously and give a proper answer

Sick leave is not a target - it is there if you are SICK.
We have a lot of temps on our books and some of them think that they must take their sick leave every month !!! This is not the case.

Is there any chance you abused your sick leave ? because it does sound like it
