    Pastel Forms Designer for Reports

    HI there

    I am struggling to find the form to edit in Forms Designer for the following reports:

    Cash Book Report
    GL Detailed Listing
    Receipts / Payments BATCH prints ?

    Can someone please point me in the right direction please?

    The Forms Designer is only applicable to documents, such as invoices and statements, not to reports.

    Is there perhaps another way to remove the "prepared by" fields on the forms ?

    I've not found a way to remove that text, although I have tried to do so!

    I think it is hard-coded into the design of the system.

    Post Form Design Pastel Partner

    Good day, my name is Renier Nell, i am an accountant and would appreciate any help with a current form i am must sort out for a client. The lines are messed up and i am relay struggling with the tax invoice design. Any help will be appreciated

    Hi Neville
    Apologies for posting here but not sure where to post a new thread for my query
    I am familiar with pastel forms designer - I have a number of companies that I run
    In one of the companies when I want to print a credit note it does not paginate correctly on plain A4 paper
    There is a default that I can change to a custom form to, ie csdocsp.enz. When I do this it prints 100%
    But when I go to the next doc it defaults back to CCRDNSP.enz which prints incorrectly ie pastel does not retain the customised change
    I have copied the enz that I wish to use into company folder but to no avail
    My other companies all work 100% and I am not sure what to do (am on version 14)
    Can you assist - I know there are many posts on forms designer and I have tried to trawl through them but they do not offer advice on this issue

    Hi Jon,

    It is probable that there is a file named CCRDNSP.enz residing in your company folder, which is overriding the CSDOCSP.enz file. I suggest that you delete CCRDNSP.enz (or rename it to CCRDNSP.old) and see if that resolves the issue.

    Thanks so much - I had tried looking for it before posting but could not find it
    Today I looked and lo and behold there it was - I renamed it ".old" and it now picks up correct form and prints like I want it to

    Hello Neville

    Sorry don't know where to post new thread either.

    Please could you assist me? My TB was displaying 100% yesterday and today - the columns are not wide enough making the report very long. I have tried to reinstall my printer drivers = changed the font to Arial 8 but still the columns are too narrow. How do I fix this? Also happens with GL etc.
