Theres a little bit more to it than filling in a form and then listing a person. You have to go the legal route via a lawyer first.

You can still list a person at a credit bureau prior to obtaining a judgement.

Kevin is right though - ordinarily the best next step is to obtain a default judgement which is pretty straight forward with an AOD in hand.

    Hi Ranger,

Trace Tech is a company that can assist you in listing a default judgement on the person's credit profile. If you visit their website you just need to register as a user and add a blacklisting to the cart, enter the details they require and make the payment. If they approve your application they will email and sms the person and give them 30 days to make the payment, if they fail to pay within the 30 day period the listing will be submitted. This can be done through their Facebook page as well. They charge a fee of about R200 per listing.

A default listing stays on a consumer's credit profile for two years and cannot be removed even if they have paid. You also have the option to place a payment notification on the person's credit profile, which still flags them, but it can be removed when payment has been received.

    Hope it helps.

Thank you for all your advise. I think I'll go forward with Trade Tec.
