Pastel: Description field on Invoice.....how do I increase size?

    Hi,

I find that the space I have available in the description field on a Pastel invoice is often not enough to complete all the information I want to put onto the invoice.

Is there any way to increase the size?

    • Select option 7 (Remarks)
    • Press F5 function key, or click on the Zoom icon
    • Press the Tab key - you should see a large text box appear
    • Type in your remarks
    • Press the tab key again
    • Press the Select button

Neville, since you are the Pastel guru I have another question on invoices - is there any way to make the "Quantity" and "Unit price" fields editable if I'm not processing from Inventory?

I.e. I want to enter in the GL code and then manually put in the quantity and unit price

Unfortunately it is not possible to use the quantity and unit price fields if you using a GL code.

What you can do is create one or more inventory codes, as service items (not physical items), and then, under Setup...Inventory, create an Inventory Group for each of those inventory items, and then map them to the relevant GL account.

In the type column (the first one on your invoice) - where it normally shown 4 - inventory item - change that to 7 to be able to input a remark.

Hi Neville. Is it possible to change the size of the terms message at the bottom of a statement? I need to add notes and do not know how to do that.
