    Safety file for site work.

Anyone want to entertain us with more details?

Maybe to do with method statements or risk assessments or maybe for registering PPE. I guess your guess is as good as my guess. Can you give some more padding maybe like who is requesting it, what kind of site is it and what are you actually doing on the site etc.

General site work. Requirements for doing construction/installation work as an electrical contractor on any site.

We had to do a 300 page method statement and risk assessment for a small project in RBM. I was working with a big company so a person was assigned to take care of it. I spent 5 days doing medicals and safety induction courses.

Apparently they are getting strict with small projects now ( not a bad thing) I thought it would be a good idea to discuss the requirements for smaller projects and how to go about making sure you comply with the requirements.

Morning tool talks etc is another subject which will require attention.

Soon all this legislation on safety will completely drown the requirements of the job, stifling progress.

But I suppose due to the lack of quality training at artisan level, this is suppose to cure the problem. Much like the number of truck accidents we have been seen taking place, which simply boils down to improper training at driver level, and the complete disregard for safety by trucking companies because of operating costs and non conforming competitors.

Also another way to create jobs, safety officers

    Safety file

There is nothing worse than dealing with a idiot who has been assigned a task to monitor safety who has absolutely no work experience, just monkey see monkey do. If it doesn't look like the picture on the piece of paper you pretty screwed. If you manage to print all the information required on two pages and not three because that is what the rules say, you have to go back and spread it over 3 pages😳
