    The ideal machines are Festool, the problem is price, which i can live with but...i hear the backup service and spares in SA suck.

    Yes Ian, I agree, the Makita cut off saw even look lighter. The price does not seem to have moved much over the years, which probably means the quality has been compromised to cut costs.
