We recently upgrade to Pastel v12 from v11. The changes to the tax manager helps a lot with reconciling transactions posted to previous periods. BUT as I can only view 1 open tax period I can not obtain all the information that I require for my cashflow planning purposes. ( We are on a monthly vat cycle and towards the end of the month I look at both the report that still needs to be submitted by the end of the month and the next months report. Closing of earlier is not possible).
I know that you can "toggle" between the old way (v11) and the new way (v12) for the tax reporting in Pastel ( Pressing CTRL ALT T on the Help About screen).
My qeustion is: Is there anything that I should look out for or be aware off if I switch between these to methods. I don't want to 'break' anything.
