I desperately need help with the setup of my chart of accounts for the business in pastel evolution standard. What we need to report on is account, sub-account, branch and department eg. Motor vehicle expenses -fuel- Upington (and 96 others)- Fridge/Counter (Dept). I have been told that this is not possible as we will not be able to draw a profit/loss report for the branches unless we used the sub category to denote fuel and the branch. Is there any other way to structure my accounts to be able to draw reports per branch and department and how would it look. Thank you.
