If you don't want the complete pack, we can do any one of the above items separately for you.
IE If you would just like to know if you have a Criminal record for example, we can help you out.

There have been times when I've wondered about doing criminal background checks on staff (it's to meet an international standard I've been contemplating going for, and would be with staff consent - before I get shot down for wanting to invade my staff's privacy or something like that ).

So as good a time as any to at least explore the subject:

What would the procedure be for an employer to correctly obtain a criminal background check/report?
And at what sort of cost?
The trouble with opportunity is it normally comes dressed up as work.

Dave, the correct way is by fingerprint. You would have to find someone in your area to come around and take the fingerprints, which is easier than taking your staff to him. The fingerprint is the best way and proper way of doing it.
The alternate way is via ID, but it is not conclusive.
Cost would be dependant on the guy doing the check, but normally anything between R300 and R600 per check (depending on qty as well)
