    Now that’s interesting! I can’t wait for Dave’s reply

The Forum seems to be a popular name. I don't know much about the trucking enterprise though, although I've also seen the trucks on the road of late.

When trying to pick a web domain, I did check if Forum SA was available, but the domain had already been registered since 2003 - although it's got no content. Never gave much thought about who might have registered it or why, and wanted to get the show on the road, so went for theforumsa.co.za

Needless to say, that part of the movie The Network where The Facebook is trimmed to Facebook struck a chord. But I'm nowhere near as ambitious as young Zuckerman, so no biggie.

I don't recall the truck branding flying the flag. It was text only as I recall.

No big deal, I was curious as to why the flag in the forum's logo was upside down, searched for something related to it and asked.

  8. Thanks given for this post:

The Forum SA adopted the upside-down flag logo in February 2011 (for those of you with Silver Club access).

Although originally accidental, as flying a flag upside down is a recognised symbol of distress I actually thought it was quite appropriate.

I quietly resolved not to fix it until SA is back on track to being the Rainbow Nation. Six years and some later it seems like we're still a long way away from that happening
