Pastel Statements - Printing over the page lines

    Hi all,

I have a problem with a clients Statement printing. If there are too many invoices, then it seems to print outside the prescribed lines.
    See attached picture.

Does any one know how to resolve this issue?

The width of the description column is too narrow, causing the lines to wrap, and that is resulting in the problem you have.

You can widen the description column, using the Forms Designer utility.

Let me know if you need any assistance, and we can arrange a TeamViewer session.

    Hi Neville,

    Many thanks for your reply.
I have used the forms designer before.

Tho - in this case i'm not sure which form to open. Could you perhaps steer me in the right direction?

The form file for statements (if you are using plain, single-sheet paper) is csmthsp.eng.

Make sure that you save the amended file (which will have a file extension of enz) into your company folder, so that it gets included in your backups.

Also, if you are emailing statements out of Pastel, save a copy of the csmthsp.enz file and rename it to csmthpdfsp.enz.

I located csmthsp.eng, extended the column width and then extended the Description field.
I then lined up the headings and saved the file as csmthsp.enz into the root of the company folder. Ran a test run of statements and it worked flawlessly!!

    Many Thanks Neville!
