It works well but when the wood is badly warped it tends to stick and drag the wood....as I found to my dismay. My biggest problem is that my bed is warped and that we have to adjust the height all the time. I'm cutting a smaller job now but we'll give it a go with a 900mm sq panel of 3mm mdf that is always a problem because of the bed. Hopefully it will solve the bed issue.

Adrian what about a piece of Teflon or plastic instead of the wood, it might glide easier.

I see in some hardware stores you get "Teflon pads for furniture" They are not that expensive. I am sure you can modify them to work on your application. On your bolts I would allow for space between the top ring to accommodate small springs that will push against the frame and the nuts. This will absorb some of the warped surface while maintaining a steady platform. I think this along side the Teflon pads will help to absorb friction while keeping things a bit more level.

Concerning that guy with the signatures..... I actually agree with this person.

The reason is, he is entitled to claim his insurance, because he was paying his premium.

The insurance fund just doesn't want to pay up. They can deduct it off your pay slip, they should also pay it back just as quick.
Instead they make you walk around town like a headless chicken while the bills stack up at home.

Although - I agree with everyone else here.
Don't know why he didnt give his CV forward at the same time and actually looked for a job while eating up the insurance money. Because eventually that will also run out. (short-term-ism)
