    Cool Back up generator

I am signing off a back up generator actually an alternator though why we still call them generators I don't really know. Would I be correct in requesting test results and vendor documents for the genset and AMF panel. The COC is really for the installation work connecting the unit to the installation.
SANS is not clear on this.

I stand to be corrected also the generator has to be SABS approved

There lays the problem, the units are locally assembled, EU compliant yes, to get a SANS label would take forever. So I sign off the installation work only.

You'll need to get that info from your local supply authority as I've noticed they differ on the required change over switch due to TN S and TNC S connections
