Member drawing salary ad hoc - Pay periods worked and employment dates on IRP5?

    Hi,

If a member draws a salary on an ad hoc basis, what dates do I put on his IRP5 as the employment start and finish dates and pay periods worked?

Say he drew a salary in July and October 2012, do I:

    1) Put employed from 01/07/2012 to 31/10/2012 or
    2) Prepare 2 seperate IRP5's for him one with employment dates 01/07/2012 to 31/07/2012 and second one with employment dates 01/10/2012 to 31/10/2012 or
    3) Put employed from 01/03/2012 to 28/02/2013 with pay periods worked as 2 out of 12?

    Please assist.

Presumably you used director's remuneration source code?
Use the full tax year's dates and 12/12 periods.

    Hi Clive-Triangle,

Thank you very much. I appreciate your advice.

I confirmed this with SARS and they also said full tax year dates and 12/12 periods.
