Hi Folks

Anyone know of a good roofing contractor?

The IBR roof above my garage has collapsed, the beams supporting the roof have rotted and when I got up there to clean out gutters I nearly landed on top of my wife's car! I went the usual route through ABSA Insurance and they claim that the beams have deteriorated as a result of "a maintenance issue"? so the repair will be for my own account. I'm still fighting with them on that, but I need the roof repaired as a matter of urgency, can anyone help?

I do some printing for these guys Roofrefurb they have always been a good customer. Never used them though.

You gotta insurance companies, that seems to be the new thing, claim rejected due to lack of maintenance.

In all honesty, the roof has been leaking for some time, and I've patched in over the years, and re-painted afterwards. Maybe if I'd called the insurance company the first time it started leaking... Anyway, today I'm donning the boxing gloves and will take it up with one of the more senior managers.
