    Houston, we have a problem..

    From the CIPC the past few days:

    CIPC system downtime from 16h00 on Friday, the 10th of May until 06h00

    Kindly note that all CIPC systems will be unavailable from 16h00, Friday the 10th of May until 06h00 on Monday, the 13th of May 2013. The shutdown is intended to conduct necessary repairs that will enable optimial performance.

    CIPC apologises for any inconvenience caused.
    Problems with billing system

    Dear CIPC Customer

    Kindly note that CIPC is aware of the current technical problems relating to the billing system. These problems impact on the e-services offered by CIPC, such as annual returns, Companies Online, and IP Online. CIPC is working around the clock to resolve the problem.

    As indicated on the notice, “Annual return system issues and slow response on e-lodgements” dated 07 May 2013, there will be no deregistration of entities before the end of June 2013.

    Name reservation turnaround times

    Due to technical problems in processing name reservation applications, the time for reserving a name will no longer be three days as indicated on CIPC's Service Delivery Standard until further notice.

    The CIPC wishes to advise customers that it is currently experiencing some residual difficulties on its AR system due to a culmination of technical difficulties experienced during its recent maintenance of the AR system, high volume of e-lodgements and infrastructure disruptions
