    Set-up Vat in Pastel

    Hi All

Would like to know what the best approach is: I have a client running a retail company, which is not Vat registered and they only intend to register for Vat if/when compulsory. Do I choose the No Tax/Vat option in Pastel under Setup -- Tax -- General Settings. And then if 2/3 years down the line the company has to compulsory register for Vat, just change the option to the Vat Option. Is it as simple as that or am I missing something.

    Many Thanks
    Elijah
